Mangiamo Fettuccine Alfredo

I used to work at the bank by Talias and Ron was a customer and used to have his chef make us a wonderful lunch of half Talias fettuccine Alfredo and half spaghetti with Bolognes and their house salad I still crave that dish after 40 years thank you for creating such amazing food. I come here four times a year and ALWAYS a ring new people to experience the love

Fresh Jumbo Scallops

Had a wonderful evening dining in at Mangiamo. The scallops were divine and came with house made lobster ravioli. I also tried the fried calamari and I must say, it's the best I've had in the South Bay. Both dishes are a MUST try here. I'd also like to give praise to their extensive list of imported wines. I will be back very soon!

This was my first time having this dish. It was so scrumptious that I was literally hitting my leg and moaning with almost every bite because it was so Fantastic. Everyone must try it.

King Salmon

My boyfriend and I were visiting LA for his bday. I decided to make reservations here to make his bday dinner elegant and special. He ordered the King Salmon, which he absolutely loved. He said it was the best salmon he ever tasted. I ordered the fettuccine with a grilled chicken breast and it was phenomenal. Our compliments to the chef. Let me also say we were serviced by "Nico" and he provided us with excellent service from the time we stepped foot in the door until we left. He even took pictures for us and sang happy birthday with a cheesecake at the end of dinner. Overall our experience was impeccable. We will definitely be visiting again the next time were in LA.

Chicken Marsala

My daughter raved about her chicken marsala being the best one she has ever had at a restaurant! I had to try it and agreed! The chicken was tender, flavorful and the marsala sauce was not overly sweet and mixed well with the fettucine alfredo on the side. I ordered the Vodka Penne and asked for blackened chicken to be added. It was so flavorful and I was appreciative the kitchen was so flexible with additions. For dessert we enjoyed the cheesecake, and my favorite the chocolate cake in the mug...always delicious. SO happy the food and staff at Mangiamo are back and the food and service didn't skip a beat!

Skillet Braised Oxtail

First date at Mangiamo entailed cute and slightly awkward conversation while completely disregarding the menu (at first). We finally pick something random within the pasta region and become completely enamored with our dishes! I had the Vodka Pasta and he had the Skillet Braised Oxtail. I can easily say that our food tasted as if it was made with love straight from Italy, with recipes passed down from generations!

Sand Dabs

The perfect dish! The Sand Dabs in their delightful buttery sauce was absolutely cooked to perfection. The delicious fillets were paired with a side of puttanesca... a treasure of a combination. The puttanesca was filled with tangy flavors of olives, chill and a bit of a crunch with pine nuts. I loved that the puttanesca was without tomatoes because the flavors all complimented each other.

King Salmon

Such a beautiful night with a mind-blowing tasty dinner and romantic view! Feeling so happy that this place recovered after 2020 and now on top again! Dear Ron and all your team thank you so much for your work and for making people happy 37 years already! Dining at your place always put a smile on my face. )) Guys, if you want to experience deliciously-melting-in-your-mounth king salmon with mushroom risotto (that's my favourite), elegant service and Californian ocean view, you should definitely visit Mangiamo Restaurant.

Veal Parmigiana

My veal parmigiana was cooked superbly! The Caesar salad was exceptional and the bread was crusty and deelish! This is our favorite restaurant in Manhattan beach by a landslide ! The duckhorn wine complemented the meal perfectly! We can't wait for our next meal there!
